Emmaus

The story of the disciples on the Emmaus road was the first scripture to impact my life. My friend John had been speaking to me about the lord and his claims upon my life for a while and so I had bought myself a bible. After finishing a night shift I picked the bible up to read before I went to sleep. The tears flowed as I was convicted of the truth of the resurection and it was not long after this that I became a born again Christian.
